Dr. Nojoke´s EP ‘zero.one‘ marks the start of the vinyl editions on CLIKNO. The imprint is set to present his delicate understanding of contemporary club-music with an experimental approach.

The A-side is taken up entirely by the thirteen minute piece ‘Copipo’, a slowly transforming and carefully constructed minimal groover. After a five minute built-up pitched kalimba-loops take over giving the track a deeper transcendental, but also a bit of a pseudo-afro-feel. The intricately shifting melodic and rhythmical elements are surrounded by raising drones, and harmonies before the track zooms back to its rhythmical skeleton slowly falling apart and vanishing into another dimension.

The B-side is driven by the relentless rhythm of ‘Pariko’, over which a guitar-esque rhythmic, stereophonic sound steadily increases the trance around poly-metric patterns and drones as if krautrock meets techno for another hypnotic dancefloor adventure.

zero.one (Poster Edition) is strictly limited to 50 hand-numbered copies and comes on transparent vinyl in a transparent sleeve with a folded A2 CLIKNO poster and silver/black CLIKNO sticker inside.
