Subwax Bcn introduces its new sister label Detroit Dancer with Bella, the first release on the imprint, featuring Detroit legend Santonio Echols.
Known for his work since the late 90s on labels such as KMS, Serious Grooves, Made In Detroit, Express, Siren and Tresor, Santonio Echols has played a key role in shaping the Detroit sound. On this release, he delivers three cuts rooted in classic Detroit Techno and House aesthetics, combining groove, depth and dancefloor functionality.
Alongside the original material, the EP features two reinterpretations of “Bella”: the Duane Evans Dub Mix on the A-side and a remix by Orlando Voorn on the B-side, each offering a distinct take while staying true to the Detroit sound tradition.
