The fifth release on Panick Panick! comes from the label head Noha. “Originally I wanted to keep ‘Europa’ as a secret DJ weapon.” says Noha. “The idea behind the name of the track is that it depicts my home, Europe. I keep on traveling and moving, without really feeling Italian or belonging to any particular culture”.‘Europa’ is a truly exceptional slide of dramatic house music – and an undisputedly catchy jam that’s been tailor made with a blissful dancefloor moment in mind.
The B side gets underway thanks to ‘Margaret’. More spiky and attitude-heavy than its predecessor, it’s full of gnarly, stifling sounds, all of which prove a quite brilliant foil to the track’s inspired vocal flourish. “This one is dedicated to my sister Margherita, Hence the delicate elements that makes the track so dreamy” Noha admits.
The concluding track is arguably the catchiest of the EP. Entitled “Dottoressa Sara…” (meaning ‘Doctor Sara, please help me’), it’s dedicated to Noha’s friend (obviously named Sara), who’s known for taking care of her friends and prescribing the right ahem, ‘prescriptions’ at the right time.
