Mihai Pol returns to his own Griffith imprint with Phantom EP, the label’s second release. The title track is one of his most anticipated productions in recent years, held back for some time before finally making its way onto vinyl. Already a regular feature in his sets, ‘Phantom’ has also become a familiar presence at Sunwaves.
‘We Almost’ is our favorite of the four, while ‘Stepback’ and ‘Solo Locales’ complete the EP. All four tracks were tested on festival dancefloors well before reaching vinyl, giving Phantom EP the feel of a record shaped through extended play and direct experience on the floor.
