Ten years after his contribution to CYN001, Toronto-based producer Matt Thibideau returns to Cynosure with three new tracks and a re-mastered version of his earlier cut “Archenar”.

The EP opens with “Asphalt”, built around a tight, syncopated groove and reduced synth stabs, reflecting the label’s long-standing focus on refined Minimal and House aesthetics. “Archenar” follows in its updated version, smoothing the energy with layered pads, subtle drum reverbs and a deep sub bass foundation.

“Icebox” introduces precise FM textures and structured rhythmic elements, maintaining clarity while adding melodic warmth. Closing the record, “30 Story Drop” leans into Dub-influenced Techno territory, drawing on Basic Channel-inspired depth and low-end emphasis.

Matt Thibideau’s return underlines Cynosure’s ongoing commitment to timeless and uncompromising electronic music.
