Description
Mat Fink – Streams EP // Funky Soul Creations – FUNKS001
Mat Fink presents his first solo EP on the new Funky Soul Creations label, delivering four tracks built around driving basslines, jazzy melodies and a distinctly funky approach. Touches of Detroit and Chicago run through the release, which moves between club-focused energy, deeper early-morning moods and more playful, leftfield moments.
The title track opens with a raw, tribal groove and an improvised one-take vocal, followed by ‘Peace of Deep’, which shifts into a warmer Deep House atmosphere with a gradual, sunrise feel. The B-side moves into darker and quirkier territory, pairing hypnotic basslines with deep textures and rolling percussion before the final track closes the EP on a more eccentric note, described as a kind of futuristic folk soundtrack for a forest cocktail party.
Tracklist:
A1. Mat Fink – Stream
A2. Mat Fink – Peace of Deep
B1. Mat Fink – Hypnocity
B2. Mat Fink – Jungle Aperitif
