“Saveur de Monbi” reflects SEVEN’s approach of combining classic and contemporary club sounds, resulting in a focused and functional EP.
“WTTD (Welcome to the Dancefloor)” opens with heavy kicks, syncopated low toms and vocal elements, setting a direct tone built for the floor.
“Acid Array” centres around a low-resonant 303 bassline, supported by evolving pads and a tight, stripped-back groove.
“Midnight Journey” shifts into a more minimal direction, where rough, drum-led structures meet reverb-heavy, atmospheric textures, creating a restrained, nostalgic mood.
On the B-side, Volpe reinterprets “Midnight Journey”, adding drive through additional drums and subtle rhythmic changes while preserving the original’s spatial character.
“Chordance” closes the EP with playful tom patterns, warm chords and a steady low end, maintaining a clean and balanced arrangement.
