Description
Busso – Anna In The Jelly // Det Gode Selskab – DGS010
Det Gode Selskab welcomes Berlin-based Italian artist Busso with Anna In The Jelly, a four-track EP moving between animated Deep House and stripped-back Minimal. Reflecting Busso’s versatile approach, the record shifts between playful, sun-soaked grooves and darker, more mechanical territory.
‘Sexual Desire’ opens with playful peak-time energy, combining crisp drums and vintage-tinged vocals with a direct, feel-good groove. ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ follows with slick hi-hats, an elastic bass-driven rhythm and warm chords that gradually open up the track.
The title track ‘Anna In The Jelly’ takes a chunkier and moodier direction, built around squelchy mechanical tones and a darker sense of movement. ‘Red Print’ closes the EP with a tightly arranged groove, detailed percussion and quirky elements that unfold throughout.
