Description
Alexander Skancke & Henriku – Peacewave // Quirk – QRK018
Alexander Skancke and Henriku return to Quirk with another varied four-track collaboration, moving between driving club grooves, Electro and deeper tribal territory. Ethan Dalziel joins the pair on the two A-side tracks.
‘ATM’ brings an Electro-leaning direction with familiar vocal elements, while ‘Orange Sunshine’ offers a more restrained interlude. ‘Peacewave’ shifts firmly toward the dancefloor with driving percussion, sparse vocals and a steadily building arrangement. Closing the release, ‘Ragnarok’ moves deeper with a distinctly tribal groove.
